Magda Stawarska contributed to the Lubaina Himid Tate Catalogue, edited by Michael Wellen. The essay, Composing with Paint and Sound, is based on a conversation between Christine Eyene, Lubaina Himid, and Magda Stawarska. They reflect on the sound component, collaboration, and the role of the sonic element in Lubaina Himid’s practice.  The works featured in this debate are Naming the Money, Old Boat New Money, Bleu grid test and Reduce the Time Spend Holding.
